CMU produces hot water from sunlight, truly reducing electricity consumption!
\nSolar Collector Thermal Energy System
\nProvided by the Energy Research and Development Institute (ERDI-CMU)<\/p>\n

Installed a rooftop solar hot water system in conjunction with a heat pump system
\nat the Chiang Mai University dormitory.
\nThe total installation area is over 1,420 square meters.<\/p>\n

Results:
\nProduces over 6,800,000 MJ of thermal energy per year
\nReduces electricity consumption by over 1,897,000 kWh per year
\nReduces carbon emissions by over 1,135 tons of CO\u2082 per year<\/p>\n

This system reduces energy costs and promotes the use of environmentally friendly renewable energy.<\/p>\n
