CMU Carbon One has commenced, moving forward with activities to disseminate knowledge on sustainable carbon management for the 2026 fiscal year.
CMU Carbon One has commenced its knowledge transfer activities on sustainable carbon management for the 2026 fiscal year.
CMU Carbon One continues to promote knowledge on sustainable carbon management, starting with its first course, “In-depth Organizational Carbon Footprint Assessment,” in collaboration with the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) or GGM, from November 4-5, 2025, at the TK Palace & Convention Hotel, Bangkok. Over 170 participants attended the training.
CMU Carbon One brought together experts and lecturers from the Nakornping Energy Research and Development Institute, Chiang Mai University, to share their knowledge and experience in in-depth organizational carbon footprint assessment (CFO) with participants in the “In-depth Organizational Carbon Footprint Assessment” course. Throughout the training, participants learned about the concepts and principles of CFO, the assessment process, the preparation of reports on greenhouse gas emissions and removals, and the procedures for obtaining carbon footprint certification. This activity is part of Chiang Mai University’s commitment to becoming a carbon-neutral university and supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in climate change adaptation.
