Solar Collector Thermal Energy System
Provided by the Energy Research and Development Institute (ERDI-CMU)
Installed a rooftop solar hot water system in conjunction with a heat pump system
at the Chiang Mai University dormitory.
The total installation area is over 1,420 square meters.
Results:
Produces over 6,800,000 MJ of thermal energy per year
Reduces electricity consumption by over 1,897,000 kWh per year
Reduces carbon emissions by over 1,135 tons of CO₂ per year
This system reduces energy costs and promotes the use of environmentally friendly renewable energy.
