Project: Assessment of Carbon Footprint of the Mae Hia Educational Area and Huay Saiy Center and Application for CARBON NEUTRALITY Certification
1. Principles and Reasons (Summarized) :
The university has established a policy to drive carbon neutrality as part of its strategic goals, with the aim of achieving Carbon Neutrality University status by reaching 70% by 2570 and 100% by 2575. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a Carbon Footprint Assessment (CFO) for Chiang Mai University. This project will assess the CFO in the Mae Hia educational area and the Huay Saiy Center, serving as a model for CFO and Carbon Neutrality for other units in the future.
2. Objectives :
1) To assess the carbon footprint of the organization and apply for CFO certification with the Department of Environmental Quality Promotion (DEQP) for the Mae Hia educational area and the Huay Saiy Center.
2) To obtain Carbon Neutrality certification for the Mae Hia educational area and the Huay Saiy Center.
3) To serve as a model for CFO and Carbon Neutrality for other units and organizations.
