The organization leading in greenhouse gases is CALO (Carbon Advocacy Leadership Organization).

Chiang Mai University expresses its commitment to actively participate in driving and supporting the achievement of carbon neutrality and net-zero greenhouse gas emissions within the organization by the year 2050 (Carbon Neutrality / Net Zero Emission by 2050). This commitment aligns with the policies of Thailand and the goals of the global community under the Paris Agreement. These efforts will be carried out as part of the Carbon Neutral Thailand network

    Chiang Mai University, in its role as the “Climate Action Leading Organization” (CALO), has the goal of “striving for carbon neutrality by 2032.”
